7.62×51 M62 Tracer line of ammunition consists of Lake City brass, boxer-primers and projectiles. Most if not all projectiles will be lacking the painted tip. This is due to the fact that we receive our projectiles directly from the Military as is, whether they are painted or not. This will NOT affect accuracy or function of the rounds.  Designed for Range Training. This line of ammunition is 100% American made. Designed for range training and tactical exercises. OHF M62 tracer will typically light up at 25 yards. Due to the high temperature produced by the tracer material, the risk of fire is increased. Be aware of your target and beyond in order to maintain a safe shooting environment. All of our 7.62 ammunition is tested for function using an AR-10 style rifle with an 18″ barrel.
